New York Fashion Week kicks off this week, which brings me back to visiting the stunning Yves Saint Laurent exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. First off, if you’re living in the area and haven’t made the short trek to the VMFA in Richmond, now’s your time. While this gorgeous exhibit has passed, the museum has an excellent collection of Faberge, English silver, and so much more.
In the YSL exhibit, there were more than 100 pieces from his haute couture and ready-to-wear collection. From beaded cocktail dresses to sweeping cloaks, and menswear-inspired suits and designs for the modern 1960s woman, this display had it all. I’m sharing a few of my favorites below!
