We are in a major puppy dog phase, so I had to share a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day picks for anyone else whose kids just can’t get enough furry friends.
I can’t recommend these Zuccini shorts from Monday’s Child in Old Town enough. The fit is comfortable and forgiving and the quality is so good. We still have some that made it through a rough and tumble summer last year and look as good as new. The embroidered “critters” (we used to call these “critter shorts” back when J.Crew’s were the ones you had to have) are darling.
If you’re local, you can order them and scoop them up free of charge – with a little bonus that you’ll get to step inside the sweetest boutique. I also think this gingham puppy bubble is adorable.
Our very first stuffed animals were by Steiff and I am super brand loyal to them. This newer, softer plush is super soft and very kid-friendly. They’re the perfect size to cuddle, too.
I always add a few books to any holiday gift. It’s so much fun to add to your collection year over year. Spot is a classic and my good friend, Steph, says it’s a must-have!
Good Dog, Carl was one of my favorites growing up, so it would absolutely go into our Valentine’s gift basket if we didn’t already have it. And, we love a good touch and feel book these days. This one looks so sweet. Sandra Boynton’s books are also always a hit. You can’t go wrong. Here is puppy dog counting one with her classic illustrations and rhymes.
I love shopping Saddle Stitches. They have the most fun products and wonderful monograms. If you’re a planner, take a look at the toile Easter basket bows here. Precious.
This darling little set by Cecil and Lou is another fun option for Valentine’s Day – and the tan gingham is a great staple to have all season. I love layering these polos under sweaters and cardigans. A puppy holding a heart to me is timeless. Expect to see it well past Valentine’s over here, friends!
Happy Valentine’s shopping!
