Whether you’re sneaking away this weekend or celebrating a quiet Fourth of July at home, we’ve got a little tablescape inspiration for y’all today!
Our patriotic table is set for two with our take on classic Americana: rattan-wrapped glasses from my sweet friend, This American House, chinoiserie dinnerware, and French bistro napkins.
These red woven napkin rings were a fabulous find. I snagged them at The Homestead a few years ago. They were on the sale table for $3.50 apiece, so I quickly bought them out of all that they had and now they’re a perfect staple on our table these days. These are nearly identical to ours.
These blue woven chargers add the perfect amount of texture – in a fabulous deep blue. I found them at HomeGoods two years ago. Who else is ready to line up at their doors again? I love these blue chargers by Bunny Williams for Ballard Designs. They’re on sale right now, too.
Our chic little silver tennis coasters were a great buy from The Sterling Saddle on Instagram. She has the most fun and unique items!
Our bistro napkins were also HomeGoods finds. We use them nearly every day. Here are some similar ones on Amazon. I love the casual cafe feel of bistro napkins. They’re friendly to spills and are truly perfect for everyday use. Plus, who could go wrong with stripes…ever? Pottery Barn has a fantastic selection of them. I plan to stock up on these in grey and blue.
Since we recently went berry picking, I had to include some of our bounty in sparkling water over ice. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for these hot summer days. Add a little crudite and hummus and we are in business!
You can find our stars and stripes paper straws on Amazon here. Our silver pearl toothpick holders are here, but you can one-up those with these silver stars. Huzzah!
Pop over here to see our blue and white Fourth of July spread. You can also check out how we did a lowcountry boil with my family in the past to celebrate the Fourth. I can’t recommend that more. It’s such a good time!
If you’re looking for something to do these next few days, be sure and check out your local farms since berries are in prime season. Blueberries won’t be around much longer in the DMV, so if you’re over here, make sure you visit your favorites sooner than later. Check out our post on how to freeze your berries once you come home with them so that you can enjoy them all year long. That post also has our favorite spot to go berry picking (and apple picking) in northern Virginia.
Happy Fourth of July, friends!
