Essentials I’m Picking up for the New Season
We are less than a month out from spring and I couldn’t be happier. Bring on the sunshine and warmer temps! It feels like we’ve been cooped up indoors hibernating and I’m so excited to bring a little brightness to our tabletop.
From pastel colors to new prints and patterns, here are a few items I’m picking up to ready our entertaining arsenal and tabletop for the spring:
Cire Trudon taper candles. You can never have too many taper candles and Cire Trudon’s are my favorite, followed closely by Caspari’s. I love stocking up on candles in light pink, off-white, white, sky blue, and mint for the spring. They are unexpected and different, and lend themselves beautifully to a light, spring tabletop.
Chef’s “From the Kitchen of” stickers. I found these on a whim and fell in love. What perfect way to seal up plastic cutlery into a luncheon napkin for a dish you’re bringing to your neighbors, new parents, or your in-laws! They are such a fun way to personalize a signature dish. I also can’t get enough of these return address labels.
Caspari cocktail napkins. You all know I love everything Caspari. Their cocktail napkins and guest towels are my favorite things and I always have them on-hand. I love this cherry blossom pagoda print for the spring. The photo above is from our Easter brunch last year. It’s still one of my all-time favorite tablescapes.
Placecards. Crane & Co. makes the most wonderful basic placecards. I stock up on them in ecru.
India Amory tablecloths. I love printed tablecloths, especially for the warmer months. They add so much personality to a table and are a sophisticated way to elevate a dinner party while still keeping it playful and fun. India Amory’s tablecloths are just stunning and I can’t wait to pick up a few for the season. Another favorite of mine is Pomegranate, Inc. Being a Kentucky company, they make several equestrian tablecloths I’ve used for Twilight Polo and Gold Cup.
Raffia and rattan items. I adore these raffia chargers from Tory Burch and glassware by Amanda Lindroth remain my favorites for spring and summer entertaining.
