I use blue and white as a neutral in so many of my tablescapes. It’s a classic that stands the test of time. Whether you lean more Delft blue or Asian-inspired blue and white, it’s a terrific and versatile palette to work off of for almost everything. It plays so nicely with other colors, like red and green, navy blue and orange, and even red, white, and blue. Here are a few of my current favorite blue and white pieces…
I’ve recently discovered the most stunning china from Royal Copenhagen. I just love its subtle, elegant pattern. These would look beautiful mixed in with a basic white or with navy blue or blue dinner ware.
If you were to look for a common thread in my home, this palette would be it. You can find blue and white additions in nearly every room in our house. It’s friendly to both genders and can be dressed up or down in rooms that range from traditional to modern.
I love the Kassatex Orsay blue and white collection for the bathroom. I’ve sprinkled pieces in our powder room and in one of our guest bathrooms.
Another fun way to infuse this palette is through lighting. Whether it’s a pair of navy blue lacquered lamps or a classic ginger jar-style lamp on a side table or nightstand, blue and white is a classic combination that can be mixed and matched with all kinds of interiors.
