A good tablescape comes from a solid starting point. For me, this one came together around two pineapples and these amazingly fabulous rattan-wrapped glasses that I purchased from my friend’s Etsy shop. She truly has some of the most fun finds!
If you’re looking for a similar look to these glasses, Amanda Lindroth has loads of wrapped carafes, beverage glasses, and more.
Layered Caspari napkins (this set and this one) bring out the gold rim on the salad plate while also tying in the rattan and the yellows and browns of the pineapples.
You’d be surprised by how many patterns and textures you can bring into a tablescape so long as you make sure a few of the colors tie in together. It doesn’t have to be exact either. The pale blue edging on the salad plates is super close to the blue in the tablecloth design. It doesn’t match exactly, but ties it in just enough.
Replacing two smaller floral arrangements with two pineapples is a fun nod to summer – and made for a great snack once the table was broken down! I tied the yellows and greens of the fruit into the arrangement by using flowers of the same color palette.
These adorable salad plates were a gift from my fabulous grandmother. They mix in perfectly with our Williams Sonoma dinner plates and looked great against our paisley tablecloth (an old HomeGoods find).
This palm napkin holder is one of my favorite pieces. I use it all the time and just love it here in this spread because it plays off the gold in the napkins and adds a summery feel.
