There’s something so wonderful about this time of year. The days are hot and hazy, but you don’t really mind quite as much because you know that fall is right around the corner. Dressing is easier and lighter, with linens and natural textiles.
And, if you were to ask your table, I’m sure it would agree that now isn’t the time for anything fussy covering it either. That’s why today’s table incorporates chic staples like silver flatware and candlesticks, simple bistro glasses, and the most fun and easy pop of rattan and the classic Audubon birds from famed ornithologist John James Audubon captured by none other than our favorite, Caspari. A big thanks to Caspari for providing a few of these items for us to use.

One of my favorite sneaky appearances in these photos is our trellis and pagoda pillows that we keep on and near our dining room chairs. We don’t have a separate dining room and kitchen/eat-in breakfast nook in this home, so this space acts as an all-purpose one. These little pillows add a coziness and comfort to the space. Perfect for a casual summer meal!
I love the way Caspari’s prints and patterns play right along with our porcelain. They’re so easy to mix and match – and what a fun pop of color and texture they are!
A simple arrangement of baby’s breath brought the outdoors in in a casual yet refined way.
