I love a good pumpkin patch in the fall, but if your calendar is anything like ours, fitting in a visit to one can be nearly impossible.
That’s just one of the reasons why we love stopping by Nalls. It’s right outside of D.C. in Alexandria, VA, and you can find almost everything you would at a farm an hour away.
The skilled team at Nalls builds out Pumpkin Hill, a hill of pumpkins with tunnels underneath for kids to crawl through. We spent nearly an hour there with our toddler. He loved it. One thing to note is it is much easier to go with two adults or more since the tunnels spill out and there are quite a lot of families and kids running around.
Pumpkin Hill opens at 10am.
There is also a section covered in straw with another tunnel and a little play house for kids to romp in. This was a big hit for our little one.
You can find all the fall essentials here, too. We walked away with pumpkins, apple cider, apple cider donuts, and apples. Oh, and I can’t forget the pumpkin butter. I buy this every fall and it is THE best ever. The company is out of Frederick, Md.
And, don’t forget a stop in front of the Pumpkin Wall for that obligatory fall picture.
It’s a perfect way to spend part of your weekend – I couldn’t recommend it more.
