A few of my favorite mid-season updates

We have all of the staples: red wine glasses, white wine glasses, decanters, highballs, wine openers, etc., but sometimes I find myself wanting a little refresh for the new season. Since we’re about to find ourselves in the middle of hosting central between Thanksgiving and the holidays, now is a good time to add a few updates here and there. Here are a few of my top picks:

1. Wooden bar accessories. I love these monogrammed cutting boards from Tuckernuck. They’re the perfect size for slicing lemons, limes, and all of your garnishes. The fabulous puzzle coasters pictured here were a gift from our friend Brandon. They’re some of our favorites. WUDN is a new find of mine. They have wonderful bar accessories handcrafted from walnut, birch, mahogany, and more. This personalized bar setΒ would make a great gift, and it’s under $50.00.Β This wine glass caddy is also so clever!

2. Witty cocktail napkins. How perfect is this turkey cocktail napkin set from August Morgan? All of her cocktail napkins are wonderful. My friend Rachel introduced me to the line and I can’t get enough of it.

3. A statement tray. You can’t go wrong with the timeless tobacco leaf print and this bar tray from Scully and Scully is everything you could want. The colors pop and it’s a wonderful size. You could easily fit a few cocktail napkins, a few glass dishes holding your garnishes, and a chic wine opener.

4. Chic cocktail picks. Words can’t express how much I love these little bee cocktail picks. You can find oodles of disposable ones, too. I’ve had great luck looking on Amazon for very theme-specific picks, like the ones we used for our Twilight Polo tailgate this year. These mallet-shaped picks are inspired by the ones used at the Polo Bar. If you’re hosting a brunch with a Bloody Mary bar, these are too much fun.

Cheers, friends!
